THE EVOLUTION OF JACANA

Jacana's Journey to where we are today has been a smooth one. This comes down to always going above and beyond expectations, knowing our work and the  limitations that are in place and a great production and sales staff behind us. Managing Director Barry Drury started his career in the luxury yacht and cruiser building industry decades ago. He has carried all the relevant knowledge over into the motor home industry and has been building and fitting-out motor homes since 1995. The motor homes Jacana produce feature the best technologies from both land and water vessels. Choosing the diamonds in the rough so to speak from each industry, both practical and visual elements and molding them together. This has allowed Jacana to produce unique motor homes that stand alone in the industry. Jacana for the first duration focused on re-manufactured coaches. These have been very popular, Jacana has produced hundreds of different motor homes in the world of re-manufactured jobs. People like this option because its great value for money and it's completely customised to our clients specifications and floor plan inclusions.

 

In more recent years as the company has evolved, Jacana has taken on a Bus Sales Division focused on an imported brand of buses called Higer. We have accepted these buses as a part of our product line for many reasons, mostly because of there quality, value for money and the great brands used to complete these buses. Cummins Engines, Allison Auto Gear Boxes, Wabco Braking Systems and Australian BHP steel is used in the construction, just to name a few. Higer Buses are very competitive and offer more inclusions then most for a lesser price. 

 

We have started a new motor home product line with the Higer Models. These models use new  Higer shells and have proven a popular choice if a re-manufactured motor home isn't what your looking for. Just recently we now offer these Shells to potential clients who wish to fit-out a motor home them selves. We can consult with this and offer our services where needed. Doing the labors your self will ultimately cut down the over all price.
